Basic controls

Hold control and move the mouse to rotate the cube, or use the right mouse button. (If you're using USB Overdrive, the right mouse button doesn't seem to work unless you're using full-screen mode.)
Additional controls

Command/Apple click on a face to select the face on the opposite side of the one you clicked...this saves having to rotate the cube to get at it. Or you can use the middle mouse button. (Again, this may not work unless you’re in full-screen mode.)
You can use the keyboard to rotate the cube instead: arrow keys or WSAD.
The following commands do the same thing as the icons:
T: Toggle moves/timer display
N: Make a new puzzle (scramble)
R: Reset cube to an unscrambled state
2-9: Make cubes of sizes 2x2x2 through 9x9x9 (this also resets the cube)

Hold shift while pressing N or clicking the scramble icon to make the scrambling go slower so you can see it happening. If you get bored watching it, let go and the rest of the scrambling will be done instantly.
Hold alt/option while pressing N to scramble the cube just a little bit. This is for when you don’t want much of a challenge. You can hold down shift when doing this too.
Note: some graphics cards won't show the shadows. This is only cosmetic and doesn't affect the game.
Enjoy!
